Description: Such an amazing treasure with this engraved 1924 Delta Phi Epsilon piece of memorabilia. It is a large Sterling Silverplated pocket watch case that was fashioned into a ladies wristlet of chatelaine coin purse. The strap is unique, the bail is engraved sterling silver and there is hair woven around the top of the strap, this may have been a sweetheart gift. There is a sterling silver marcasite pendant dangle on the bottom of the case, it is Hallmarked "Sterling." For its age and obvious heavy use from the wear to the strap, the silver plating overall is in amazing condition showing very little wear. I removed the strap and pendant and gave this a thorough cleaning/polishing. The latch works as it should and stays shut, the hinge also works as it should.
