The engine turned surface is covered with intricate engraving. The inside of the compact has been redone by a previous owner. Some type of fabric has been applied to the interior surfaces. It was well done, but the value of the compact is diminished. The base of the compact is a shade of green that blends beautifully with the yellow enamel. The top has a tiny red spot on it.
