Each was dressed in custom ensemble that in some cases rival the value of the doll itself, elaborate and stunning. Featuring here a 13" doll that was marked on her notes as a Simon & Halbig circa 1880's, 1996 appraised value of $725, outfit price value $320. The ensemble was one-of-a-kind and made specifically for this individual doll, and parts are sewn onto her. Includes pantaloons, petticoat, waistcoat. Her shoulder head mark only reads Germany and the number 171 or 177 with possibly another digit after it that is obscured by the kidskin body. Upper part of bisque head is covered by wig but presumably is S&H based on her identification notes. Bisque lower arms on kidskin. She is in excellent overall antique condition; we could not take off her dress as the top is sewn onto her and we didn't want to damage her. The outfit is like new condition. Kidskin body appears very good with wear as expected, minor tape repair on one arm as shown, real human hair blonde thick wig, open mouth with teeth, fixed dark eyes, small dimple on chin, tip of left thumb is missing as shown in photo. We did not attempt to clean her face either. She comes with shoes, custom head piece, her multi-layer ensemble, doll stand with the former owner's notes on the base.
