Description: Banker turned Poet Samuel Rogers was a very active member of the literary circles of early 19th century London. Blessed with a goodly income from his banking days, he sponsored the publication of several of his own works and collaborated with great artists to see them illustrated. This work is “a new edition” of the compilation of his poetry with annotations and a brief biographical sketch by his nephew Samuel Sharpe.
