Description: This is a lovely handmade silk embroidered on silk panel measuring 18.5” x 20”. It dates to around 1918 and was made as a commemorative memorial with the 4 flags with varying ensigns representative of the British Isles, England, Royal, and Merchant Navy. It is in excellent condition for its age without significant fading and without tears or holes. I believe these were made in China for export at that time.
