Description: This is a beautiful antique circa 1840s precious little 11" doll papier mache Motschmann doll. The doll has wax over the paper mache and sleep eyes. She has the Motschmann body that still squeaks when the torso and legs are pushed up and down together. She has her original dress, undergarments, and wooden limbs. She is just precious and all original! She does have a few spots on her cheek and chin where the wax has come off but her papier mache underneath is in excellent condition. The most beautiful aspect of her is her Alice hairdo that has completely original paint! Each stroke of her hair is beautifully visible! She has the black Alice hair band and is just lovely! She is just a precious little gem! Non-smoking home. I will combine shipping with other items in my shop.
