Description: This is a nice cast iron bench with an unusual and hard-to-find design. It has the cane-seat pattern used on early cast iron furniture, winged side pieces and a center back piece with a tree motif. The bench is red but was gold at some point, and may have another color under that one. The bench is in good shape and solid. The center back leg through-bolt mount chipped out and was repaired by using a larger washer—you don't notice and this doesn't affect the bench's strength or stability. Bench is 52 inches long, 19 inches deep at the seat and 32 inches tall. Cheap aluminum modern copies of this bench sell for $1,200+. Get the real deal here for less and have a piece of history.
