Description: This listing is for an incredible handmade, hand-hammered copper pot with handles and a lid. It is old, used, heavily tarnished, and oxidizing. This is a perfect decorative piece for those who love cottage-core and French Provincial decor. It has so much charm and rustic beauty. The lid handle and handles themselves appear to be made of brass. You can feel and see the uneven hammering throughout, especially on the lid's rim and the top of the pot. It is these features that make it incredibly unique. In its condition, it is probably best to use it for decoration, not for functional cooking. I have chosen not to touch it outside of a basic cleaning. I don't want to compromise its aged appeal in any way, so whether to restore it is up to the buyer. It is small but not particularly delicate. It weighs 1 pound 8 ounces. It measures about 5" in diameter and 7 1/2" across, including the handles. It is 2 1/2" tall without its lid and 3 1/2 with the lid at its tallest point. It has just over a 3-cup capacity. Please look at the photos, and I am willing to upload more upon request. Feel free to ask questions, and thanks for looking.
