Description: Today, I will be selling four pieces of antique manganese glazed redware. These are from a Pennsylvania collector and all date from the early- to mid-1800's. All are hand-thrown. Each piece will be offered individually. See the other items in my store - combined shipping always applies. This piece: Handled cup with exceptional mottled manganese glaze. See condition section - AS FOUND. Hallmarks: No maker's marks. Dimensions: 3.25" tall x 3.75" Top diameter / 2-3/8" base diameter. Handle makes total depth 5". Condition: Decent giftable condition for age and use. Mentionable issue: 2" prominent "crow's foot" hairline crack (see photo #5) is stabilized on one side . No visible crazing or discoloration. Paint and glaze intact with good color and without scratches or erosion. Other than previously mentioned, no chips, flakes, breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. No signs of previous repair or restoration.
