Description: Antique EAPG Highbee Perkins Pattern Pressed Glass Pedestal Early 1900s. Lovely early 1900s vintage pressed glass compote or candy dish, Perkins or "Fortuna" pattern by Higbee / New Martinsville glass. The design is like oval arches, with scalloped rim on the bowl. Bowl measures about 5" in diameter x 5" tall. Condition is good. Has a few bubbles inside the glass left from the manufacturing process. No cracks but i do feel a small chip on the side raised line, see photos. A beautiful antique glass compote bowl or candy dish from the John B. Higbee Company. Circa 1913, this EAPG footed, pedestal bowl is in their FORTUNA (Omn) aka Perkins pattern. Perfect as a serving bowl or for use as a decorative piece.
