Description: A fine gouache and watercolor painting on artist board of the famous American built English Clipper Ship LIGHTING. Painting is signed R. Heddon and noted verso that it is by listed artist Robert Heddon who is recorded being active in the late 19th through the first half of the 20th century. The painting is well rendered and in excellent condition for age. Nothing major to note regarding condition, only light toning and light surface wear. It is matted and housed in a contemporary frame has light wear with small scattered areas of stain loss.
