Description: On offer is this lovely set of 6 finely engraved islamic / arabic brass bowls from the Middle East. Each bowl is very finely engraved with islamic symbols and calligraphy......they are all slightly different and the detail is stunning. I imagine these were used for water to wash your hands before a meal or before prayers. It is unusual to find a set of six as often these have been split over the years and sold off individually. each bowl is 12.5cms by 5cms. This is just one of a large collection of antique and vintage items I have inherited/collected and will be listing over the next few weeks......so please have a look at my other items.
