Description: You are bidding on an antique nut serving bowl with 4 individual bowls. I am 80 years old and my mother owned this before I did. I suspect it came from my Grandmother, but I can't prove it. I have not been able to find any markings on the bowls to indicate the maker. None of the 5 bowls have any chips or cracks. The small bowls do have some yellowing on the inside. I chose to wash them only in a gentle detergent, so I don't know if the coloring would come out with special treatment. Also please notice that some of the gilding has worn off, particularly on the feet of the small bowls. If you have more questions, please don't hesitate to ask.I have enjoyed looking at this set for years, but now I am concerned that my children might just sell it at a yard sale. Ugh! I would much rather these bowls go to a "good" home where they will be loved.
