Antique French Majolica Asparagus Server

Description: Twelve painstakingly rendered asparagus shoots nestle into two wood-look posts, forming a "raft" for your vegetables to rest in in this unique vintage asparagus server. A small assortment of holes in the center allow the vegetables to drain into the tray below, painted and textured to look like water and framed by a yellow rope around the edge. The green and brown glazed bottom has a small black V or L mark, with no further stamps or signatures noted. Measuring approximately 11 1/4 inches long, 8 7/8 inches wide, and 3 1/2 inches tall, this hand-painted piece is in excellent antique condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs noted. Glaze crazing is present throughout. Please see pictures closely for further information on condition of this lovely piece.
