Antique Griswold Cast Iron #8 Lg Logo Skillet 704A? Erie PA USA Vintage 2 spouts

Description: My collection of old cast iron is being listed currently. This one first is a Griswold 8 Skillet cast iron with the cross logo on the back stating cast iron skillet and Griswold Erie PA. There is also what looks like the letter A could be r or a number? The bottom has some cooked on food that simple washing and soaking can't remove, so I have tried to clean it, as best I could without access to lye, and I put vegetable oil on it and baked the pans in the oven for about an hour, smoked up my house pretty good. I Don't want to wash off the baked on oil, to keep it from rusting waiting for it to sell. It probably can be washed again and if you have access to lye can remove the baked on food that's mostly limited to the bottom edge of the pan and then re oiled and baked to season it better than I tried to do. It is cast iron and a magnet sticks to it. Measures approx 11 1/4" x 15 1/2 inch with the handle and is approx 2" tall. Flat bottom and two spouts for pouring on either side of pan.
