The artist who crafted this fine old piece was second to none. It is an Islamic piece that is signed on the base. This great silver bowl stands about 3" tall, is 4" in diameter at the top and the base is about 2 3/8" in diameter. The pattern is just amazing. It looks to me like a stylized Islamic Mosque's Tower. There are also lovely hand cut geometric patterns throughout the piece. It weighs 104 grams or about 4 ounces. It is in good shape with a wonderful patina. Nothing broken or repaired that I can see. Just a fine signed piece of antique silver. We recently bought a collection of wonderful African, South American and other rare old Ethnographic Tribal pieces that we are listing.
