Description: Antique Vintage Japanese glass fishing float. 12"in diameter. 18.5"inches Tall to top of rope. Color is a blue-green, or light teal. It is a stunning color. There is a dark green swirled line inside. The rope has two knots that are retied. This float has a pontil mark but no "maker's mark" as most of the ones I have don't. My father was a Captain in the Navy and brought back many of these floats on the Destroyers he captained. Some of these floats were passed down to me.Please see all of the pictures as they are part of the description.The float weighs around 8 to 9 lbs.
