Hand-painted with the artist's initials on the front - Leon. Plate with gold gilt edge and beautiful pink and yellow flowers on the green, grey, yellow background.Measures: this plate is from 9-1/4" to 10" in the widest points.This beautiful decorative plate has two identifying marks, one under the glaze and one over the glaze; it dates from the 1890 - 1914. Maker's mark - Limoges France torch (darker green) is under the glaze. The LDBC Flambeau mark with arched Limoges over the torch is on top of the glaze. You can be a hung plate on a wall by running a wire or hanger through a small hole in the back.No chips, cracks or crazing.
