Description: I really don't know a lot about this kind of thing !!, With that said I have some very interesting items I have acquired,, with very good provenance. The items were brought back after the Philippine war by Tom Dwyer, an American soldier . He said in Democrat newspaper on June 12, 1914 he had no where to store these items . So he sold them to Mr. J. P. Simons ,former editor of the Democrat newspaper. Here is an early 2 Hand Head Hunter Executioner sword and sheath or scabbard... Measures about 40 1/2" overall, blade is little over 20".. Blade and sheath seems to me this is in pretty good condition, some of the string?? winding is coming loose... I never touched blade, really want to clean it up?? BUT MOST INTERESTING THING ABOUT THIS IS THE MARKING ON BLADE!!!!! HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT SAYS!! I will add a copy of newspaper clipping that came with this purchase.. I have some other items from this collection I will be putting on sale in next few weeks.. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks for looking.
