Description: CONDITION: Excellent, no defects. This pair of bisque figurines was produced in Thuringia, Germany by Gebruder Heubach in the 1880s. One has the impressed mark and the other has a printed mark. The girl is 13 inches high and 7 1/4 inches wide. The boy is 12 3/4 inches high and 7 inches wide. The figurines are modeled with marvelous detail and hand painted. They are dressed in the Victorian fashion of the day. The most extraordinary feature is their expressions of glee. The modeler caught the character and liveliness of happy children dancing. There are many other Heubach figurines available, but they do not have the charm and beautiful detail these have. #E816 IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT PAY until you have purchased all the items you plan to bid on.
