Description: These Palais Royal pieces are whimsical as well as useful as is this lady's jewel casket. This little box has what remains of a silk covered and tufted interior on it's base. The silk has, unfortunately, shredded over time. The brass fittings and supports have a dulled and aged patina, typical for the age. All of the bevelled glass panels are etched with beautiful floral designs. The condition is good antique overall. Please see the report above. I am selling this box at a very low price for restoration of the interior and noting the two little glass chips on two corners as well as the lining issues.
