Description: Antique Primitive Hand-Carved Wooden Mixing Bowl Up for your consideration is a nice hand-carved Antique Primitive Wooden Bowl. Item is made from one piece of an unknown type of wood with a very nice dark patina. Bowl has some wear from use, scratches, minor cracks, etc. None of the scratches, cracks, etc. impacts the bowl's character & functionality. Leather strips have been attached to the bottom of the bowl to protect against scuffing, scratching, & potential further damage. Bowls such this were used back in the day for a variety of purposes including cleaning grain, kneading dough, etc. Rarely do you ever see two bowls the same since they are handmade and come from a living natural wood product. The exact age of the bowl is unknown, but we were told it was at least 100 years old. See photos for more detail regarding item's overall condition. Dimensions - Diameter 21" x 3 1/4" Thick. Note - Dimensions are approx. measurements. Weight of bowl is 12 lbs. Bowl is 100% authentic (not a reproduction) with a lot of history and character.
