The cup has a thistle flower shape (our opinion). Both pieces match and complement one other with pink rose and foliage decorations. The cup has two large pink roses on the front and a budding rose sprig on the back side. The saucer has a single pink rose on the border. The rims are serrated and trimmed with sponged gold. The cup has a fancy art nouveau style handle. Only the cup has the green RS Prussia & Wreath mark that is very faded, but definitely can be seen. A handsome set that would make a great addition to any collection! Please take the time to carefully inspect all the photographs for more details. Contact seller if you have any questions or if you require additional photographs for inspection. Measurements: The cup and saucer set stands approximately 2-3/4” off the table. The cup itself stands approximately 2-1/2” and measures 4-1/4” across from the back of the handle to the opposite rim. It measures 3-3/4” from the front rim to the back rim. The saucer measures approximately 6” in diameter and stands approximately 1” off the table at the rim. The set weighs approximately 6 ounces. All measurements are approximate, but close. Condition: We carefully examined each piece. NO Chips, Cracks, Nicks, Scratches, Stains, Repairs or Restorations were noted. The saucer does have a four arm glaze craze on the underside. This is not seen on the top of the saucer. There is very light gold wear noted on the rims here and there, but truly, this is mentioned only for accuracy, as it is not that noticeable. Both pieces will 'ping' when lightly tapped with a finger. Please take the time to carefully examine all the photographs for more details.
