Description: This antique Spode soup bowl is a beautiful example of a well loved Spode pattern. The soup bowl features Spode’s classic Italian pattern, which features a fanciful pastoral scene represented in blue and white transfer print. The bowl measures approximately 9 inches in diameter and sits 1.5 inches from the table. It has a glazed foot. The reverse has both impressed and printed marks. Based on these, I estimate it was made circa 1930. The item(s) are antique and sold as is. They may show wear, fading, scratches, chips, cracks, original imperfections and/or damage from normal use.
