Description: Made by the Stanley Ruling and Level Company between 1876 and 1918, this design commemorated the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and featured the Liberty Bell on the front. Patent Traut & Richard's 4/18/1876. The handle is broken and a tad sticky, and is missing the secondary screw. A split of the wood body was repaired at one point, which can be seen on one side where there are a number of nails and nail holes. The knob and the wood body have some cracks in them. The metal has some wear, but appears to be in good condition.
