Description: For sale is an antique (1872-1914) Unger Brothers sterling (.925 fine) silver picture frame. In general, it will fit 5x7 photos. The exact dimensions are 7 1/4" high by 5 1/2" wide with a visible area of 6 1/4" by 4 1/2". I cleaned the outside of the frame, as I needed to see if I could find any damage. There are a couple very very small dents, but nothing major at al...it looks quite nice. The old backing is quite worn at this point...should probably by replaced if the intent is to use the frame. The frame alone (no backing) weighs 2.4 ounces, but that also includes a thin wooden bracing on three inner sides.
