Description: Trenton Pottery Company, Trenton NJ Crescent Pottery Company (1881-1907, 1911-1924), Delaware Pottery Company (1884-1918), Empire Pottery Company (1884-1918), Enterprises Pottery Company (1879-1916), and Equitable Pottery Company (1888-1924) combined their resources and became the Trenton Potteries Company in 1892. Each continued to operate separately after the merger. Crescent, Delaware, Empire, and Enterprise made vitreous china sanitary wares. Equitable made tableware and hospital ceramics. The goal of the merger was to produce sanitary wares similar to those made in England. I believe this toilet bowl is from the 1890s, I am unsure of the exact date. Makers mark from Trenton Pottery Co. on back is clear, also marked with Vitroware Co. Seattle on the top. Overall the condition is very good. No major defects, some staining as shown.
