This Victorian vulcanite mourning locket shows a beautiful and detailed rendering of cherries. The bunch of cherries with leaves was molded with relief. The oval locket has an oval frame around the cherry image on the front. On the back, there is also an oval frame but with a textured cross-hatch pattern. Inside the locket there is a framed piece of glass over a purple backing on one side. The locket has its original vulcanite bail at the top. Condition: Excellent! Locket closes with a snap.
