Description: Gorgeous Set of 12 Vintage Antique COCKTAIL, TEA or DESSERT NAPKINS with Monograms of J Unused beautiful boxed set of 12 lovely ivory linen napkins with fine filet lace borders and monograms of J. Each measures approximately 14-1/2"by 14-3/4." The lace borders feature a design of bird-like creatures and flowers. The original cardboard box is in poor condition and says "Max Littwitz 7 East 47th Street New York." (Mr. Littwitz (1864-1946?) was a purveyor and collector of fine textiles and some of his holdings are now in museum collections.) The napkins have no stains, holes, tears or other flaws. Laundered by hand to freshen so they're ready to use. Although I make every attempt to photograph colors accurately please be aware that your device may display them slightly differently.
