The engraving says “To My Darling Forever and Forever from your Daddy” 1/4/1944 and was magically gifted to me in Coer D’Alene Idaho in 1990. I have honored the gift all the years and now is time for someone who might wear it or display it in their collection to step up and carry on. Face of watch has gained an organic patina over the years maintaining its vintage quality. Could be replaced or cleaned but we felt it’s original patina was warranted.
