Description: Beautiful, pristine HN White Company Cleveland King Liberty No. 2 model. Pre-war, 1939 - 1940, SN# 234674. This horn has been well taken care of over the years. Although previously in excellent condition for its age (no dents, no dings), it has been fully restored with new baked on lacquer, felts, corks and springs. The valve surfaces are original and smooth as glass - you really can't believe how quick the action is - like butter! Compression is excellent. All slides move freely. Easy blowing with the gorgeous focused tone these horns are known for. Great slotting and excellent intonation. Includes case and period King ML mouthpiece. This trumpet looks brand new. Period engraving is stunning. When you open the case, you feel like you are looking at a brand new trumpet. (Serial number 234574) Some pictures show as silver. While this shows the clarity of the engraving, the trunpet is in gold.
