Oh you use ethernet, Cool, How do you first configure the PLC to have and Ethernet IP address?This cable allows you to download to the PLC and then it will operate in the future with the IP address.(So many support calls over the year.) If you have questions message me. What I loved about this cable was A) 10 feet long B) diagnostic lights.The lights made it simple to trouble shoot a problem. I would get a support call saying I can not communicate to my PLC.I would say run your GE PLC software. (LogicMaster, VersaMax, or Proficy depending on the age of your PLC.)There are 2 lights, (Shut up John Luke) TX and RX. If TXX is blinking slowly that is good. Your PC and Software are working.If TX is blinking Fast that's better. The PLC is trying to talk back. IT TX and RX are blinking fast GREAT. its communicating.Then a support call is usually about how to download the program to the PLC and go to run.Anyway I have a few of the NIB.
