The exterior lenses are also treated with the proprietary XPL scratch-resistant coating to repel dirt and oil. For precision shot placements, this riflescope is enhanced with a first focal plane AHSR14 MIL reticle. This MRAD-based reticle consists of four tapered posts (with crossbars) that converge onto a broken target circle with a milling crosshair. To help you make corrections for ballistics and winds, the exposed (finger-operated) windage and elevation adjustments offer 40 MRAD ranges with 1/10 MRAD steps. To handle well with heavy use and harsh environments, this riflescope is outfitted with a strong 6061-T6 aluminum housing and a single-piece 30mm maintube. It is argon-purged fogproof, waterproof, and impact resistant. In the middle of the scope, you will find exposed graduated turrets and an illumination control knob, all of which can be easily adjusted by hand and without the need to unscrew caps or covers.
