The opal was mined in the Koroit opal fields in Queensland, Australia. Each Koroit opal is characterized by a unique and intricate web of colorful veins that run through its matrix. This opal is a very large, domed oval, with chocolate brown matrix (or boulder). The opal has an unusual and lovely pattern of colorful veins that spiderweb through the matrix. The opal is secure in a hand-crafted 14k yellow gold bezel setting. The ring has a wide shoulders and the band narrows to a half circle band in back.
