Description: For sale is a vintage authentic STANLEY tools sign. These were displayed in Hardware stores or General Stores as a form of visual advertising. The sign appears to be from the 1960's as Stanley is displaying the Power Lock II tape measure that was patented in the early 60's. The sign is 28" long and 11" wide. It is made of metal and has a cardboard backing. Front shows a small depression on the one corner with a few tiny scratch marks on the bottom corner below the hammer head. The backing is cardboard and shows stain water marks. Backing has original corner cushion blocks that probably were double sided tape blocks when new. None of these are any problem but wanted to mention them for clarity. Please see the pictures as these are part of the description. Thanks for looking.
