There's a remedy for this: the Axxess AXDI-CH5 wiring interface retains your vehicle's parking assist warning chimes, provides 12-volt accessory power, and keeps your aux in jack, factory backup camera, and the Retained Accessory Power (RAP) feature. Wire up the AXDI-CH5 to your aftermarket radio, mount the module, and plug it into the existing factory plug. Get the great sound you want, and keep your factory features intact. The AXDI-CH5 includes a prewired harness for Axxess' AXSWC steering wheel control interface ( sold separately), which allows you to keep your steering wheel controls with most receivers. The interface also provides the outputs you'll need to connect a navigation or multimedia receiver, including parking brake, reverse, and vehicle speed sense (VSS). The interface is designed for use with non-amplified systems or when bypassing an amplified system. Important Note: This AXDI-CH5 interface allows you to keep your factory door chime (needed to keep audible safety warnings functioning) while providing a switched 12-volt power source for your new radio. If you do not use a compatible adapter when you replace your factory radio, you will disable the audible warning system in your vehicle. Crutchfield cannot provide a free wiring harness for your vehicle, and we strongly recommend that you use this interface when replacing this vehicle's factory radio.
