Description: This item is a vintage 3-1/4” Baldwin Brass candlestick with an octagonal base from the Historic Deerfield American Heritage Collection. From an estate sale and in good/above average condition given the age and prior normal use of the piece. Approximately 2-5/8” in diameter and 3-1/4” in height. I’m also including as a bonus a set of gently used candles-see pictures-manufactured in Hong Kong-most have been burned for some period of time but they are the correct size for this candlestick. There are scattered scratches on the octagonal base, the top of the sconce (taper holder) and a few scratches (see pictures) almost like the prior owner used some sort of polish instead of just a soft damp cloth…. I do not see any pitting or erosion of the lacquer finish. This is a beautiful piece of American craftsmanship!
