Description: It is with a heavy heart that I find myself parting with this cherished piece, which has held great sentimental value for me over the years. It was a gift from a close friend who bravely battled a long illness before passing. He worked at the Severnshed bar and restaurant from the early 2000s, a venue that hosted one of Banksy's early exhibitions. Now known as Harbour House, it's situated in a converted boathouse at the Bristol docks. During his time there, he discovered this treasure tucked away and kept it close to him for many years, which he believed to be a genuine Banksy artwork. Over the years, I have held onto this artwork, but due to various personal circumstances, I now feel it is the right time to consider selling it. I must clarify that I cannot provide formal authentication from Pest Control, as I have learned they do not authenticate street art. Consequently, I refrained from seeking their validation, which left me uncertain about how to proceed with the piece for all these years. Nonetheless, my research indicates that it is plausible this artwork is by Banksy, particularly given his active presence in the Bristol area around that time and the fact that it resembles some of his earlier work. Banksy might have left it there and gifted it to the restaurant as a thank you for letting him use the premises for the exhibition. I am happy to share more details with potential buyers. It is very big, which is hard to see in the pictures. It weighs nearly 20kg and measures 93cm high , 33cm wide, 33 deep. Thank you, I look forward to discussing this artwork further.
