Description: Offered for immediate purchase . . . . . . is a packet containing a dozen (12) ~ *SMALL-MEDIUM* Natural Pink / Ivory / White *BARBADOS* "Peppermint Candy" Shells (Little Jewel Box, Chama sarda) ~ measuring approximately three-eighths of an inch (3/8") across and long. As shown in the photos, there never seem to be any two of these shells alike! They have unusual shapes, with a characteristic rough exterior in pretty shades of White, Ivory, and Pale-to-Deep Pink. These shells are slightly larger in size compared to the size of shells like these whenever they are available these days; and, what GREAT texture and *pop* of color these would add to your artwork! These were one of the types of shells often used in antique Sailor's Valentines!
