Description: A lovely ornate frame with a 9.5 inch display plate. One of three I am selling from my collection. The frame is also 20.5 inches on the diagonal and a substantial piece, in good condition with few issues, slight rubs to a couple of the central upward feathers. The plate holders look to have been updated from the original. The plate is a Gainsborough tribute by Joh Peters, Amsterdam as shown below the lady's shoulder. The plate is intact, no issues and is H & Co. Selb Bavaria. As can be seen at the back of the frame, it could accommodate a plate half an inch wider.
