Description: These Samson of Paris gilt bronze candelabra are a really beautiful pair with very pretty form and colours and in perfect condition. The pair date from the late Victorian era, circa 1870 and are in the finest gilt bronze formed as bunches of roses, with the flower heads forming the candle holders. The porcelain bodied vases are in the typical Samson colour palette and are beautifully detailed with hand painted flowers, ribbons and millefiore design. These are raised on solid gilt bronze bases. The candelabra have a great decorative impact and measure 40 cms high by 26 cms wide. The bases are 9 cms square. UK insured packing and delivery is 20.
