Made in England this beautiful piece depicts a moth perched and possibly drinking from a pool of water. Originally produced as a soap tray or ashtray, it would also serve as nice ring, change or trinket dish. It is properly signed on the bottom with the impressed Doulton Lambeth factory mark along with the inscribed artist initials “EB” for Ethel Beard. Measures approx. 5¾” at widest. It is in excellent condition free of chips, cracks or repairs and lite age/handling related wear.
