Description: Description of item: This Gothic revival confessional is from Belgium and it dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's. This is a design that's built to be partly recessed in a wall: it will extend 30" out from the wall with another 16" recessed into the wall. It's all handmade from solid oak with typical Gothic carvings. It's well built with very good fit and finish. It's in very good antique condition with minor chips, cracks and discolorations consistent with its age. There is no notable woodworm or dry rot. As we do with all our furniture we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will preserve its beauty for many years to come. Dimensions: 104" tall, 96" wide and 46" deep.
