Description: Beseler Dichro 45S Colorhead For sale- a Beseler Dichro 45S Colorhead for a Photographic Enlarger, catalog number 8278 as pictured. Initially it didn’t power up but when I went to replace the halogen lamp it wasn’t seated properly, so with that taken care of as you can see it appears to be functional. When the lever is switched to White Light the white light indicator does NOT come on, but without a manual for the thing I don’t know if it is supposed to. In the non white light setting the lamp color output is responsive to changes in the color knob settings. Because I had to go inside I also made note of the fact that there is a 35mm Diffusion Chamber installed, looks like that catalog number is 8291. I have no idea if that is a desirable thing or not, but I will point out there is an empty little chamber in that, so maybe it is missing something and I cannot help you with that.
