We use a coordinating color of thread that blends into the mats.Machine wash cold gentle cycle. Warm iron mat while wet, this will dry the cover and also will help prevent shrinking and flatten mat, this is necessary. Start with the iron on warm and gradually raise temperature. There will be steam, so use caution.
