This is my own mother's coat, and it was taken care of well, and the fur has no dryness or cracking, it's very soft! Since I took the pictures outside, the lighting varied as you will see in the photos. None of the color is uneven on the coat. Measurements:armpit to armpit when fastened and laying flat measures 21"armpit to cuff measures 15"overall length is 42" Tag says SIZE 14 - my mother was 5'3" and about 125 lbs, and she typically wore petite size clothing. I'm puzzled by the size 14, so I would recommend going by the measurements instead of the size.
