Blank firing adapters are required for allowing blank ammunition to cycle M1 Garand rifles. DO NOT try to use with live ammunition or grenade blanks! Damage to the rifle and operator can occur if grenade "blanks" are used with this adapter. DO NOT use blanks with crimped ends or used for grenade launching due to too much pressure. (To enlarge hole to a .172 hole for the new blank crimped cartridges. You can use a 11/64 bit or a #17 drill bit. Drill it out while it is on the rifle OR remove it and drill it out in vice. If you have questions, please message us.) The same firearm safety rules apply when firing blanks as in live ammo. When firing blanks, use caution and always point the rifle in a safe direction. Bayonets can be attached with the BFA. **BFA are used for honor ceremonies such as military funerals by the American Legion, VFW, and other organizations who do rifle ceremonies. Also Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and 4th of July. *11 can be shipped First Class USPS, more requires Priority USPS. You need to request an invoice to use Priority USPS.
