Its stunning black glass color makes it stand out among other antique beer bottles. The bottle type is specifically made for beer, making it a unique piece for any beer enthusiast. The country/region of manufacture adds to the historical significance of this bottle. It was made in Germany, a country known for its rich beer-making history. This antique bottle falls under the Collectibles category and specifically under Bottles & Insulators, Bottles, and Antique (Pre-1900), making it a rare find. Add this piece to your collection today and enjoy a piece of history. Very Hard To Find Bottle! If you collect German beer bottles, you may never come across another! This is a hand blown in mold bottle with an applied lip. The drippy lip adds character to the bottle. The bottle is in good condition free of cracks or chips. The porcelain stopper has some wear. Please look at all the pictures, as they are part of the description. The bottle is a very dark green glass. It looks black until you hold it to a light source. I can not find much information on this bottle. I can not read German. I do know the company started in 1882. The bottle was made sometime between then and 1920''s (when machine bottles started dominating the industry). Any questions feel free to ask! Thank you
