Description: This is a blown glass green wine glass rinser. These were fairly common upper class homes in the 18th and early 19th centuries and were used to rinse glasses between courses in a meal. This one is made of thick green glass with a distinctive maple leaf hot pressed into the place where the pontil mark would be on blown glass. (see Photo #4)Try as I might, I have been unable to identify the maker. It is 6 inches across the top from spout to spout (not really spouts, but used to rest the glass stem) and 4 inches in diameter on the base.Photo # shows the intaglio maple leaf on the base. Please note--this is NOT uranium glass.
