It can hold 40HP.- However, 99% of modern 35-40 hp motors have the wider width BIA bolt pattern and not the narrow clamp on- Again, only for Clamp on.- The BIA Bolt pattern is too wide for this tilt jack plateFEATURES:- Designed for motors up to 30-35-40HP, BMSs new hydraulic Tilt Trim can provide increased performance, better handling and less hassle raising and lowering the motor at the launch ramp.- Allows skippers to trim the boat for a smoother, drier ride.- When fully trimmed in, it provides a negative 3-degree tuck-under angle for faster starts and quicker on-plane times.
